Alright, so here's a second feature of badass female characters in videogames! Representing the RPGs section Part II, in no particular order, here they are: (Btw, if you have any suggestions of other kickass characters that represent the female gender, feel free to comment.)
I. Mitsuru Kirijo [Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 & Persona 4 Arena] / PS2 :: PS3 :: Xbox She's first introduced in Persona 3, as Gekkoukan High School's valedictorian and the student council president. She used to be the leader of S.E.E.S. until the MC joins and 'dethrones' her. Nevertheless, she becomes MC's second in command due, in great part, to her natural leadership skills.
In Persona 4 Arena, Mitsuru has become the head of a special operation unit called the Shadow Operatives. She's an expert in fencing (still able to call forth a persona to vanquish shadows) and doing business. Additionally, she's cunning enough to navigate the political stage, securing the aid of anyone to enable her success. Her intelligence, elegance and wit makes her a force to be reckoned.
II. Yuffie Kisaragi [Dirge of Cerberus] / PS2 She originally hails from Final Fantasy VII, where she's presented as a thieving ninja; young and clumsy, and hard to take seriously. In Dirge of Cerberus (which follows the story of Vincent Valentine) however, Yuffie is reintroduced as the "The Rose of Wutai". She has not only grown stronger and more mature, but she has become an active soldier in the WRO (led by Reeve Tuesti) and sobered up considerably --enough to take her seriously, without detracting from her comedic mischief. Though Yuffie's not the main character, none can argue that the nimble skill and outstanding speed of this ninja makes her one badass chick.
III. Lyndis [Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken] / Game Boy Advanced Lyndis is one of the three main characters of the game. She's eighteen years old at the start of the game and a female lord. Lyn was born in the Sacaen Plains after her parents, Hassar (chieftain of the Lorca tribe) and Madelyn (daughter of Lord Hausen of Caelin) were killed by bandits prior the beginning of the game. Since her parents eloped, Lyndis didn't know of her heritage and believed she was merely the daughter of the chieftain of a dead tribe. Lyn lived on her own until she came upon a tactician (your character) lying unconscious. This fateful meeting would trigger the series of events that would lead Lyn down a path to become stronger in order to protect her mother's lands and avenge the Lorca tribe.
IV. Marisa [Fire Emblem 8: Sacred Stones] / Game Boy Advanced Is an aloof, renowned mercenary known as the "Crimson Flash" (for her speed with the blade). She seeks to surpass her father and become the greatest swordmaster in the land. "My father placed blunt swords at my sides when I slept to keep me from moving," she explains in one of her supports, giving us a taste that her childhood was no ordinary run in the park. Though you meet her as an enemy, you're able to convince her to join your side, becoming a powerful until in your growing army. Outside of fighting, she's pretty clumsy but rather than subtract from her awesomeness, it enhances it, making her more human and, thus, less perfect.
V. Lucina [Fire Emblem 13: Awakening] :: 3DS From the newest FE series comes Awakening, wherein Lucina is introduced. She's the daughter of the main character (Chrom) who comes back from a bleak future to try to avoid the apocalyptic disaster that led to the deaths of her parents and friends. In her timeline, living is all about surviving. Days are measured by endless battles, as the world around her and her ragtag group burn to ashes. This tragedies not only made her tough, but sharpened the bite of both sword and tongue. Despite all her suffering, she's not without hope. Lucina shows that she hasn't lost the ability to love, form attachments and simply enjoy the pleasure of living. That makes her badass.

VI. Shenna [Tales of Symphonia] :: PS3 Sheena is a shinobi from Mizuho, sent to assassinate Sylvarant's Chosen of Regeneration (Colette Brunel, Love Interest of the protagonist). As the story progresses, you discover that Sheena is not all what she seemed, especially a cold assassin. Instead, she's hot-blooded, clumsy and reckless. You also find that rather than create mayhem, she's actually trying to save her people by destroying Colette, exposing a gentle and naive side to her.
Without a doubt, Sheena is skilled, tough and strong. But she also possesses an innocent charm that makes her likable and vulnerable. She lacks confidence when it comes to making big decisions, but once she's set her mind on something, she won't be stopped. Sheena becomes a close ally after she joins forces with the main group to save an innocent village that had given her refuge. From there on, her help would become invaluable.
